> AGM Results
Your new exec is here!
Posted by James - 11-02-10 00:19 - 0 comments
Thank you so much to everyone who turned up to the AGM today, was really patient with all the tedious bureaucratic bits, and helped the evening go really smoothly. It's much appreciated.

Both of our proposed motions were passed by a greater than two thirds majority - the exec has been reshuffled, and Emily King has been named Least Necessary Beard in Perpetuity.

The results of the elections were as follows:

President: HYPNOTOAD
Presidential Spokesbeing: Alex Stuart
Secretary: Mark Whitfield
Treasurer: Alex Spencer
S.F. Librarian: Alex Allan
Roleplaying Representative: Ben Firth
CCG Representative: Joe Jackson
Wargames Representative: Joe Grimes
Publicity and Social: Glen Dorrington
Webmonkey: Alex Stuart
Society Victim: Luke "Kiwi" Wiltshire

The new exec officially takes over on the last day of term, but we'll be breaking them in over the next few weeks, so please talk to them about what you'd like to see the Society doing smile.gif

> Board Games Weekend + Auction
Saturday/Sunday Week 5
Posted by James - 8-02-10 12:49 - 18 comments
This coming weekend (13th - 14th February) sees our Termly boad games weekend. We have S0.09 in Social Studies booked between 9am and 11pm on both the Saturday and Sunday, and will have a wide variety of games for folk to play, so turn up whenever you like and join in!

In addition, on the Saturday evening (provisionally at 6pm) We'll be auctioning of some of the Society's rarely-played games and duplicate books, to raise a bit of cash and clear some storage space.
